SunStar Strategic joins with other US SIF members to meet with policy makers on Capitol Hill.
This week SunStar Strategic joined fellow US SIF group members Calvert, Clean Yield, and Transformative Wealth Management in Washington, D.C., for a visit to Capitol Hill. Members of US SIF are committed to advancing sustainable and responsible investing across all asset classes.
The team met with the Senate Banking Committee, House and Senate leadership offices, and home-state members to educate them about US SIF, the SRI industry, and their concerns with the Financial Choice Act and the current climate crisis. They were able to meet with Rep. Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD-08) (see picture above).
US SIF members are dedicated to making an impact with policymakers and will continue to advocate for change.
