Bruce Cameron, co-founder Berkshire Global Advisors, recently presented Understanding M&A and Current Valuations, at SunStar Strategic’s virtual conference, Strategies to Engage Advisors & Attract Assets.
As the pandemic first took hold in the U.S. there was some doubt there would be much M&A activity in 2020. However, as time went on, it became clear it would continue and perhaps more than expected.
Bruce shared the top reasons he expects it to continue:
-
Need for scale
-
Demand for alternatives
-
Global presence
-
Technology evolution
Most funds are faced with addressing challenges in growth, profitability, and business momentum.
Bruce’s presentation was incredibly informative as he discussed the state of the industry, valuations, and alternative business strategies. You can find the transcript of his presentation, Q&A, and slides here.
Transcripts and replays from all presentations are also available.
