Jeren works with investment management clients to develop and execute effective public relations and communications strategies. She seeks to raise the profile and visibility of her clients by strategically placing them in top-tier financial publications and on national TV, with the ultimate goal of increasing investment inflows into her clients’ funds through greater investor awareness.
Jeren joined SunStar Strategic in 2011 after completing her MBA degree at the Kogod School of Business, American University in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, Jeren was an account executive at a large, publicly-traded commercial finance company. In this role, she maintained, monitored and serviced a multi-million dollar portfolio of real estate loans, including being responsible for analyzing the financial health of the borrowers on an ongoing basis. Jeren also has experience in international development through her previous position with a large, nonprofit organization that supplies monetary grants to countries all over the world.
Jeren earned her BBA in finance and international business from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. Jeren is originally from Turkmenistan; her native language is Russian, and she has a basic knowledge of Turkmen. In her free time, she enjoys fitness activities and is studying French and Spanish.
