Payten joined SunStar in 2024 filling a unique hybrid role working with both the PR and the Marketing teams. With a background in media buying, account coordination, and social media management, Payten has expertly planned, implemented, and monitored campaigns across various industries, from banking and wine to philanthropic initiatives. Her efforts have successfully elevated brands at the local, regional, and national levels, including growing clients' social media presence to the point of verification. Payten’s vibrant personality and client-focused approach make her a natural fit for her role, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and social media from the University of Louisville and has the distinct honor of being a Kentucky Colonel, the highest title of recognition awarded by the Governor of Kentucky. In her free time, Payten enjoys family time, diving into books, and teaching group fitness classes.
