Financial Executives to Hear from Industry Experts
July 6, 2021 Alexandria, VA. SunStar Strategic, a public relations firm focused on asset management firms, will offer its annual fund conference on July 20 and 21, 2021. The event titled “Catch the Wave – and Build Your Business” will be virtual, with four concise panel presentations spread over the two days.
Topics include the surge in ETF offerings, what the media wants from managers, effective promotion strategies for ETFs and mutual funds, and what advisors need from fund offerers. Participants can attend one or all four. Registration is still open and is complimentary.

The speaker line-up on Tuesday, July 20, session one at 2 pm ET, includes Mike Costino, SVP, Exchange Traded Products, US Bancorp Fund Services, Sonja Formato, Foreside’s senior director for distribution consulting, and Brett Eichenberger, partner, Cohen & Company, discussing the surge in ETFs. Session two at 3 pm ET features media experts Teresa Rivas, long-time financial reporter with Barron’s, and Alexandria Hincks, lead talent booker for TDAmeritrade Network. Both media outlets are sought after for their targeted appeal and outstanding reputations. Hibre Teklemariam, VP and partner, SunStar Strategic will talk with these women about what the media needs from financial spokespeople.

They’ll let listeners in on effective strategies they’ve employed to market their funds. Session two at 2:45 pm ET rounds out this year’s event with Alan Delcorse, founder, CEO & CIO, Equilibrium Wealth Management and Marilyn Dale, VP, director creative and digital services, SunStar Strategic, talking about how to succeed in attracting advisors.
